Our Verdict
Choosing between Essential Search Redirects and KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight depends entirely on a merchant's specific needs. If the primary concern is optimizing the existing search experience and recovering potentially lost sales from 'no results' searches, Essential Search Redirects may be the better choice – assuming it can deliver on its promises despite the lack of reviews. However, the absence of any user feedback presents a significant risk. If the goal is to enhance the store's visual navigation and make key products and collections more accessible and engaging, especially on mobile, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight, with its perfect rating and numerous reviews, is the safer and likely more effective option. KOBU would be particularly helpful for stores wanting to emulate the easy navigation of social media platforms like Instagram.
