Our Verdict
For merchants in the fashion and apparel industry, OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try on offers a significantly more relevant and potentially impactful solution. The virtual try-on functionality directly addresses a key pain point in online fashion retail – the inability to physically try on clothes before buying. This can lead to increased purchase confidence and reduced return rates. For all other e-commerce businesses that are not related to fashion or apparel, Essential Upsell & Cross Sell provides a more versatile approach to increasing AOV through proven upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific needs of the merchant. While Essential Upsell & Cross Sell benefits from a larger user base and a broader appeal, OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try on provides a targeted solution to a specific challenge within a defined vertical. If you are selling clothing, OnYou is likely the better choice. Otherwise, Essential Upsell & Cross Sell offers more value.
