Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to proactively manage customer expectations and reduce shipping-related support tickets by displaying estimated delivery dates across their store, Estimated Delivery Date: EOD is the superior choice. Its broader feature set caters to enhancing the overall post-purchase experience.
However, if the primary goal is to streamline the checkout process for customers by organizing, clarifying, or hiding specific shipping options due to complexity, ETP Sort Hide Shipping Rates is the more appropriate solution. It provides specific tools for controlling which shipping options are presented to the customer at checkout, leading to a more efficient and pleasant checkout experience.
Common Questions

Both apps claim ease of use. Estimated Delivery Date: EOD emphasizes "quick setup and easy management." ETP Sort Hide Shipping Rates states it "hides unwanted shipping methods easily." The actual ease of use will depend on the merchant's specific technical skills and store complexity, but both aim for a user-friendly experience.
Can Estimated Delivery Date: EOD help with shipping costs?
No, Estimated Delivery Date: EOD doesn't directly manage shipping costs. It focuses on providing transparency about delivery timelines, not cost calculations or discounts.
Can ETP Sort Hide Shipping Rates provide delivery date estimates?
No, ETP Sort Hide Shipping Rates does not provide delivery date estimates. Its core function is to manage the presentation of existing shipping methods, not to calculate or display ETAs.
Which app is better for a store with only one shipping option?
