Estimated Delivery Date: EOD vs Shipping Rates by Postcodefor Shopify (2026)
Estimated Delivery Date: EOD and Shipping Rates by Postcode, while both touching on delivery and shipping, serve distinctly different purposes. Estimated Delivery Date: EOD focuses on enhancing the customer experience by providing transparent and accurate delivery estimates. It aims to build trust and reduce shipping-related inquiries. Shipping Rates by Postcode is targeted at merchants who need precise control over shipping costs, especially those operating in regions with complex postal systems or those offering a wide range of products with varying shipping requirements. It excels in providing flexible shipping rate calculations and avoiding revenue loss from undercharged shipping. The key difference is focus: one on *when* the order arrives, the other on *how much* it costs to ship.
