ESTS Cancel Order Notification vs Ting ‑ Slack Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
ESTS Cancel Order Notification and Ting ‑ Slack Notifications are both Shopify apps aiming to improve staff notifications, but they take dramatically different approaches and have vastly different user feedback. ESTS Cancel Order Notification focuses specifically on notifying staff about canceled orders, though with zero reviews and a 0/5 rating, its current functionality and reliability are questionable. Ting ‑ Slack Notifications, on the other hand, provides a much broader notification system integrating directly with Slack. It aims to streamline communication and provide real-time insights into store activity. The critical difference lies in their scope and platform. ESTS Cancel Order Notification targets a niche need (cancel order notifications) but lacks any evidence of effectiveness. Ting targets providing instant order notifications and reports in Slack. Its features such as rule-based notifications, order reports, multiple Slack channel support, and customizable data within notifications suggest a richer, more integrated experience for merchants who rely heavily on Slack for team communication. The perfect 5/5 rating with 13 reviews further validates its value to users.

Our Verdict
Given the current data, Ting ‑ Slack Notifications is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its integration with Slack, comprehensive feature set, and positive user reviews indicate a reliable and valuable tool for managing store activity and team communication. For merchants heavily reliant on Slack for internal communication and order tracking, Ting is almost certainly the better option.
ESTS Cancel Order Notification, in its current state with no reviews or evidence of functionality, is difficult to recommend. While a dedicated cancel order notification system *could* be useful, there's no indication that this app provides a reliable solution. Merchants should avoid ESTS Cancel Order Notification until positive reviews and a proven track record emerge. Merchants *may* consider ESTS Cancel Order Notification *if* cancel order notifications are their *only* need *and* they are willing to take a risk on an unproven app. However, it is likely that Ting could fulfill this need given its other customizable features and rules based notifications.
