Ests Product Purchased Badge vs Ting ‑ Slack Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
Ests Product Purchased Badge and Ting ‑ Slack Notifications cater to drastically different needs within a Shopify store. Ests Product Purchased Badge focuses on enhancing the customer experience by showcasing purchase history and badges on product pages, aiming to boost cross-selling and upselling opportunities for logged-in customers. It primarily targets customer retention and increased sales through personalized shopping experiences. Ting ‑ Slack Notifications, on the other hand, is designed for operational efficiency, providing real-time order updates and reports directly within Slack. The core difference lies in their functionality. Ests enhances the storefront for customers while Ting improves internal communication and order management. Both apps fall under the 'Order tracking' category, but this is where the similarity ends. Ests directly modifies the product and collection pages to show information to the customer, while Ting does not modify the storefront at all. Instead, Ting acts as a notification system and data reporting system.

Our Verdict
The choice between Ests Product Purchased Badge and Ting ‑ Slack Notifications depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If the goal is to enhance the customer experience, drive repeat purchases, and personalize the storefront, Ests Product Purchased Badge is the suitable option, assuming the merchant has customers that log in, and assuming they can increase the number of reviews and therefore more trust. However, merchants looking to improve internal team communication, streamline order management, and stay informed about store activity in real-time should opt for Ting ‑ Slack Notifications.
Given the higher rating and significantly more reviews, along with the described ease-of-use, Ting ‑ Slack Notifications is generally a stronger choice for merchants prioritizing operational efficiency and team collaboration. But Ests could be worth the risk if there is a strong customer following and a strong business need for customer insights.
