Ests Tax/Vat Switcher vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Ests Tax/Vat Switcher and Quick Quote are both Shopify apps that fall under the 'Pricing' category, but they address vastly different needs. Ests Tax/Vat Switcher, judging by its name, likely focuses on managing tax and VAT display, potentially allowing merchants to switch between displaying prices with or without taxes included. However, its extremely low rating (1/5) based on only 2 reviews suggests significant usability or functionality issues that severely impact user satisfaction. Quick Quote, on the other hand, provides a quoting system directly within the Shopify cart. Its primary strength lies in enabling customers to request customized quotes for their cart contents, particularly beneficial for businesses offering volume discounts, custom products, or services with variable pricing. The app's strong rating (5/5) based on 56 reviews points to high user satisfaction, likely driven by its core features like custom quote submissions, email notifications, and quote status tracking. The editable quote functionality and commenting system facilitate direct negotiation and communication with potential buyers, streamlining the sales process.

Our Verdict
Quick Quote is the clear choice for merchants looking to implement a quoting system within their Shopify store. Its high rating and positive review count strongly suggest a reliable and effective solution. It is especially well-suited for businesses offering customizable products, bulk discounts, or services with variable pricing where direct negotiation and personalized pricing are essential.
Ests Tax/Vat Switcher, with its extremely low rating and limited review count, is difficult to recommend in its current state. Unless the merchant has a very specific need for a tax/VAT display switcher and is willing to take a significant risk, exploring alternative solutions would be advisable. The lack of positive feedback indicates potential issues with functionality, support, or overall user experience.
