EVM Youtube Video Gallery vs Sherpas: Smart SEOfor Shopify (2026)
EVM Youtube Video Gallery and Sherpas: Smart SEO, while both sharing the 'Images and media' category on Shopify, serve drastically different purposes and target distinct merchant needs. EVM Youtube Video Gallery focuses on enhancing visual content marketing by simplifying the integration of YouTube and Vimeo videos into a merchant's store. It prioritizes ease of use and visual appeal, offering features like video galleries, sliders, and easy embedding. The app aims to improve customer engagement through video content, providing a no-code solution for showcasing product information or brand stories. Sherpas: Smart SEO, on the other hand, is a comprehensive SEO optimization tool. It's designed to improve a store's search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and increase sales. Our Verdict
The choice between EVM Youtube Video Gallery and Sherpas: Smart SEO depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If a business is heavily invested in visual content marketing and wants an easy way to showcase videos without coding, EVM Youtube Video Gallery is a good option. However, the low number of reviews suggests limited market adoption.
For merchants serious about improving their search engine rankings, driving organic traffic, and optimizing their store for SEO, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the clear winner. The higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest greater user satisfaction and a proven track record. While SEO requires some level of understanding, Sherpas automates many complex tasks, making it more accessible. In most cases, Sherpas will likely offer a more significant return on investment for merchants in 2026.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?

If I'm on a tight budget, which app offers more value?
Without knowing the pricing of each app, it's impossible to say definitively. However, if organic traffic and improved search rankings are crucial for driving sales, Sherpas: Smart SEO potentially provides a greater ROI in the long run. EVM's value is limited to the impact of video content engagement which is harder to quantify directly.
Does EVM Youtube Video Gallery improve SEO?
