Ex Infinite Scroll to Top vs Floatton ‑ Floating Buttonsfor Shopify (2026)
Ex Infinite Scroll to Top and Floatton ‑ Floating Buttons both aim to improve the user experience on Shopify stores, but they tackle different aspects of it. Ex Infinite Scroll focuses on streamlining product browsing by replacing pagination with infinite scrolling, customizable 'Load More' buttons, and animations. This aims to increase engagement and conversions. Floatton, on the other hand, is a more general-purpose app that adds floating buttons to the store, potentially for various functions (the provided data doesn't specify *what* the buttons do). This may include quick access to contact information, promotions, or other key pages. The apps target distinct segments of Shopify merchants. Ex Infinite Scroll appeals to stores with extensive product catalogs seeking to simplify product discovery and reduce bounce rates from paginated browsing. Floatton is better suited for merchants aiming to improve accessibility to important store actions or information by providing readily available floating buttons. Our Verdict
For merchants looking to enhance product discovery and create a smoother browsing experience within collection pages, Ex Infinite Scroll to Top is the clear choice. Its features are specifically designed for managing large product catalogs and reducing friction in the browsing process. The customization options also allow merchants to align the app's look and feel with their brand.
Floatton ‑ Floating Buttons is a more general-purpose tool. Its value depends heavily on how the floating buttons are configured. If a merchant's primary goal is to provide instant access to specific functions (e.g., contact, promotions), and infinite scroll isn't a primary concern, Floatton could be a viable option. However, the limited information available makes it difficult to provide a strong recommendation without knowing the capabilities of those buttons.
