ExpressText Connect vs Glancito:Email & SMS Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
ExpressText Connect and Glancito:Email & SMS Marketing both aim to help Shopify merchants enhance customer engagement and drive sales through targeted messaging. ExpressText Connect positions itself as a dedicated SMS marketing solution, emphasizing seamless data syncing from Shopify and personalized SMS campaigns with white-glove support. Its focus is on ease of use and hands-on assistance. On the other hand, Glancito is positioned as a more comprehensive martech solution, integrating email, SMS, and social media marketing into a single platform. It highlights features like drag-and-drop email editors, pre-built automation flows, and predictive analytics for audience segmentation. The primary difference lies in their scope and approach. ExpressText Connect offers a focused solution for merchants specifically looking to leverage SMS marketing with strong support and data synchronization. Glancito aims to be a broader marketing hub, attractive to merchants seeking a unified platform for managing multiple marketing channels and leveraging advanced features like predictive analytics. However, Glancito currently lacks user reviews and ratings, making it difficult to assess its real-world performance and reliability compared to ExpressText Connect's positive, albeit limited, feedback.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing SMS marketing and seeking hands-on support and a proven track record, ExpressText Connect is the safer choice, despite having a smaller feature set. Its 5-star rating and positive reviews indicate a reliable and well-supported application. Glancito, with its broader feature set and integration of multiple marketing channels, might appeal to larger merchants or those seeking a more comprehensive marketing solution. However, the complete lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice. Merchants should proceed with caution and carefully evaluate their needs before committing to Glancito, potentially waiting for user feedback to become available.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
ExpressText Connect emphasizes its ease of use, likely due to its focused feature set. Glancito offers a drag-and-drop editor, but managing multiple channels might increase complexity.
Which app offers better customer support?
ExpressText Connect explicitly mentions 'white-glove service,' suggesting a high level of personalized support. Glancito does not explicitly detail its support structure.
Which app is better for a beginner?
ExpressText Connect is probably the better option for beginners as the app focuses on a single channel (SMS marketing). The 'white-glove' support is an attractive perk for users who are new to SMS marketing and may require dedicated support.
Which app is better for a large enterprise?
Glancito, with its comprehensive feature set and integration across multiple marketing channels, may be a better fit for larger enterprises with more complex marketing needs. However, the lack of reviews and ratings is concerning and more research is required prior to implementation.
Which app provides a clearer ROI?
ExpressText Connect showcases a clear ROI for smaller businesses, by enabling precisely targeted SMS campaigns, with data sync with their Shopify store. The value proposition of Glancito is more convoluted, without specific ROIs presented. ROI would have to be carefully measured with Glancito.
