ExpressText Connect vs Gleantap: All‑in‑one Messagingfor Shopify (2026)
ExpressText Connect and Gleantap: All‑in‑one Messaging offer different approaches to SMS marketing for Shopify merchants in 2026. ExpressText Connect positions itself as a focused SMS marketing solution, emphasizing seamless data synchronization and personalized messaging with hands-on support. Its strength lies in its simplicity and ease of use, targeting merchants who need a straightforward SMS platform with personalized assistance. Gleantap, on the other hand, aims to be an all-in-one messaging platform, encompassing email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Facebook, with a focus on AI-driven automation and multi-channel customer journeys. The key difference is Gleantap's broader scope, incorporating AI agents, a Sales CRM, and reputation management, catering to merchants looking for a comprehensive customer engagement solution across multiple channels. While ExpressText Connect focuses solely on SMS and provides white-glove service, Gleantap provides a wider feature set, designed to automate customer interaction and boost revenue. The choice between the two depends on the merchant's needs: focused SMS marketing or a full-suite solution.

Our Verdict
ExpressText Connect is ideal for smaller businesses or those new to SMS marketing who value simplicity, personalized support, and a focused approach. Its data syncing capabilities and easy-to-use interface make it a good choice for merchants who want to quickly launch targeted SMS campaigns without the complexity of a multi-channel platform.
Gleantap, on the other hand, is a better fit for larger, more established businesses looking to automate their customer engagement across multiple channels and leverage AI to improve customer experience and drive revenue. Its comprehensive feature set and AI-powered automations make it a powerful tool for businesses looking to scale their marketing efforts and build stronger customer relationships, but at the expense of simplicity.
