Our Verdict
For merchants who already have a subscriber base in Shopify and need a straightforward way to manage targeted SMS campaigns with personalized, hands-on support, ExpressText Connect is the better option. Its focus on seamless data syncing and white-glove service will be invaluable. However, for small to mid-sized businesses seeking a more comprehensive marketing solution that leverages AI for content creation and multi-channel engagement, and prioritizes ROI tracking, Plivo: AI agents for your shop is a stronger choice, despite its lack of initial user reviews. Plivo would be more suitable for those comfortable with a self-service approach and seeking a broader reach beyond just SMS.
