EZ Internal Linking Assistant vs Sherpas: Smart SEOfor Shopify (2026)
EZ Internal Linking Assistant and Sherpas: Smart SEO both aim to improve a Shopify store's SEO, but they take different approaches and target different types of merchants. EZ Internal Linking Assistant, despite its perfect rating, has very few reviews, suggesting it's either very new or caters to a niche need – specifically internal linking. Sherpas: Smart SEO, on the other hand, is a comprehensive SEO solution with a significant number of positive reviews. Its description emphasizes ease of use and automation, positioning it as an accessible tool for merchants who may not be SEO experts. Sherpas: Smart SEO provides a broader range of features, covering meta tags, image optimization, page speed, structured data, broken link detection, and backlink reporting. This makes it suitable for merchants looking for an all-in-one SEO solution. EZ Internal Linking Assistant, based on its name, primarily focuses on improving internal linking, which is a valuable but more specific aspect of SEO. Therefore, a merchant would choose it only if the merchant has a need to optimize internal links. Considering the features and review count, Sherpas: Smart SEO appears to be a more established and comprehensive solution for general SEO improvements, while EZ Internal Linking Assistant likely targets merchants with specific internal linking needs.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants seeking a general SEO solution to improve rankings, traffic, and sales, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the clear choice. The ChatGPT-4 Turbo integration for meta and alt tag generation provides a clear advantage.
EZ Internal Linking Assistant may be valuable for merchants who have identified internal linking as a specific problem area and want a focused solution. However, given the limited information and reviews, it's difficult to assess its effectiveness compared to Sherpas: Smart SEO, which also offers broken link detection which may improve internal links, combined with other SEO capabilities.
