Our Verdict
Given the vast disparity in ratings and reviews, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons is the clear recommendation for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its proven track record of boosting sales through improved customer engagement, coupled with its ease of use, makes it a more reliable and effective choice. EZ Sidebar Menu+Sidebar Filter, with its poor rating and minimal adoption, presents a significant risk. Merchants who specifically require sidebar navigation and filtering, and are willing to experiment with a potentially problematic app, *might* consider EZ Sidebar, but should proceed with extreme caution and a clear understanding of the potential downsides. Always back up your theme before testing.
