Our Verdict
For merchants who primarily use Australia Post MyPost Business and value speed and simplicity above all else, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear winner. Its two-click process and large number of positive reviews suggest a reliable and efficient solution. However, if a merchant utilizes multiple carriers (MyPost, eParcel, Sendle) or wants to optimize shipping costs by comparing rates, Ricemill | Fulfilment is the better choice. It offers more flexibility in terms of carrier selection and label layout, catering to more complex shipping needs. The lower number of reviews compared to EZLabel may warrant further investigation of customer experiences before committing to Ricemill.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
EZLabel promotes a 2-click solution, potentially making it quicker to use daily, but both apps claim ease-of-use. Initial setup time may be similar.
Can both apps handle international shipping?
EZLabel explicitly states it supports international shipping. Ricemill does not explicitly say, but implicitly does through carrier support, so it likely does as well.
Which app is better for finding the cheapest shipping rates?
Ricemill | Fulfilment is designed to compare shipping rates across multiple carriers, making it the superior choice for finding the cheapest options.
Which app is better for businesses that only use Australia Post MyPost Business?
Either app would work, but EZLabel's focus on simplicity and direct integration with MyPost Business might give it a slight edge in terms of ease of use for these users.
Does the number of reviews indicate which is more reliable?
Typically, a higher number of reviews (like EZLabel's 459 vs. Ricemill's 20) can suggest a more established and potentially more reliable app. However, you should still look for patterns and recurring issues in both apps' review sections to determine their relative quality.
