EZLabel: Australia Post Ship vs Starshipit shipping automationfor Shopify (2026)
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and Starshipit shipping automation both aim to streamline shipping for Shopify merchants, but they cater to different needs and priorities. EZLabel positions itself as an ultra-simple solution specifically for Australia Post MyPost Business users. Its strength lies in its two-click label creation and order fulfillment process, making it ideal for merchants prioritizing speed and simplicity within the Australia Post ecosystem. Starshipit, on the other hand, is a more comprehensive shipping platform supporting multiple carriers beyond Australia Post, offering features like live rate comparisons, branded returns, and advanced automation. Starshipit is geared towards merchants who require a wider range of carrier options, complex shipping rules, and customer experience enhancements through tracking and returns portals. While EZLabel emphasizes ease of use and direct integration with Australia Post, Starshipit focuses on cost optimization, workflow automation, and building a branded post-purchase experience. The choice depends on whether a merchant's needs are primarily centered around Australia Post shipping simplicity (EZLabel) or a more robust, multi-carrier solution with advanced features (Starshipit).

Our Verdict
For small businesses that primarily use Australia Post's MyPost Business and prioritize speed and simplicity above all else, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear choice. Its two-click label generation and fulfillment process will save significant time. However, if a business ships with multiple carriers, needs advanced automation features like live rate comparisons and branded returns, or requires a comprehensive shipping solution to enhance customer experience, Starshipit shipping automation is the better option. The slightly lower rating is offset by its broader feature set and multi-carrier support.
Ultimately, the decision hinges on the complexity of the merchant's shipping needs. EZLabel excels at its specific niche, while Starshipit provides a more versatile and scalable solution for businesses with diverse shipping requirements.
