EZLabel: Australia Post Ship vs W3 Custom Order Statusfor Shopify (2026)
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and W3 Custom Order Status address different needs for Shopify merchants in 2026. EZLabel focuses on streamlining the shipping process specifically for merchants using Australia Post's MyPost Business service. Its strength lies in automating label creation, fulfillment, and tracking with a focus on ease of use. In contrast, W3 Custom Order Status, though lacking the same level of user reviews and a slightly lower rating, likely focuses on providing more granular control and customization over the customer's order journey, allowing for a more tailored experience but potentially requiring more setup and configuration. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in Australia heavily reliant on Australia Post's MyPost Business, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear winner. Its high rating and numerous reviews suggest strong user satisfaction, and its focus on streamlining the shipping process with features like two-click label printing and support for various shipping options provides significant time savings. On the other hand, W3 Custom Order Status may be a better fit for merchants who prioritize a more customized customer experience through tailored order status updates. However, the lower rating and fewer reviews suggest that it may have a steeper learning curve or be less user-friendly than EZLabel. Consider W3 Custom Order Status if highly specific, branded order tracking and communication are critical, and you are willing to invest time in configuration.
