EZLabel: Australia Post Ship vs Yagi Draft Order Listerfor Shopify (2026)
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and Yagi Draft Order Lister cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. EZLabel is positioned as a streamlined shipping solution for Australian merchants using Australia Post's MyPost Business service. Its strength lies in automating and simplifying the shipping label creation and order fulfillment process. This app is specifically valuable for merchants looking to save time and reduce manual effort associated with shipping. Yagi Draft Order Lister, on the other hand, addresses a specific pain point related to draft orders, allowing customers to easily view and pay for them directly within the store without relying solely on email invoices. Its strength is in improving the customer experience and reducing potential lost sales due to unreceived or missed invoice emails. This is specifically valuable for merchants who rely heavily on draft orders and want to ensure smooth transaction processes for their customers. The 'Invoices and receipts' shared category is arguably superficial - the apps tackle very different problems and have very different value propositions for Shopify merchants.

Our Verdict
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear choice for Australian Shopify merchants using Australia Post MyPost Business who are looking to automate and simplify their shipping label creation and fulfillment process. The significantly higher number of reviews also suggests a more established user base and potentially a more reliable app. Yagi Draft Order Lister is better suited for Shopify merchants who heavily rely on draft orders and want to improve the customer experience by allowing customers to easily view and pay for their orders directly within the store. While Yagi has a perfect rating, the very low number of reviews (5) means that the rating should be viewed with considerable caution. For the vast majority of Shopify merchants, the benefit of EZLabel is likely far more immediately apparent and useful.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim ease of use, but EZLabel's description emphasizes a 'two-click' process for shipping label creation, suggesting a very streamlined workflow. Yagi's ease of use is focused on configuration, suggesting a different type of setup complexity. For shipping, EZLabel likely offers a faster initial setup, assuming Australia Post integration is straightforward.
Does either app help with international shipping?
EZLabel explicitly states it supports international shipping using standard or express shipping options. Yagi Draft Order Lister doesn't mention any specific shipping capabilities.
Which app is more important for my Shopify store's overall functionality?
It depends on your specific needs. If you primarily sell ready-made products and ship frequently, EZLabel will likely have a bigger impact. If you generate many draft orders, particularly for custom or complex orders, Yagi will be more beneficial. However, efficient shipping is more universally critical to the success of most ecommerce stores.
How does the pricing structure compare between the two apps?
The provided descriptions do not contain any pricing information. Pricing information is crucial for a complete app comparison.
Which app is better if I only ship a few orders per week?
Even with a low shipping volume, EZLabel could still be beneficial by saving time on each order. However, the value proposition may be less significant compared to a high-volume shipper. Yagi's value is less directly tied to order volume and more related to the use of Draft Orders, so it might still be beneficial even with lower order frequency if many of those orders are drafts.
