EZLabel: Australia Post Ship vs Yanet: Returns and Exchangesfor Shopify (2026)
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and Yanet: Returns and Exchanges, while both categorized under "Shipping" in the Shopify app store, address fundamentally different aspects of the post-purchase process. EZLabel is laser-focused on streamlining the Australia Post MyPost Business shipping label creation and fulfillment workflow. Its strength lies in automation, aiming to minimize the time and effort required to get orders out the door. Yanet, conversely, concentrates on the often-complex and potentially customer-satisfaction-damaging area of returns and exchanges. It aims to provide a structured and transparent process for handling these requests, improving customer experience and simplifying internal management. EZLabel caters specifically to merchants heavily reliant on Australia Post for their shipping needs. Its feature set emphasizes rapid label generation and order fulfillment using that specific carrier. Yanet's broader focus makes it suitable for a wider range of merchants, particularly those looking to enhance their customer service by providing a seamless returns and exchanges experience, potentially integrating with multiple shipping carriers beyond just Australia Post. It offers policy customization and customer communication features lacking in EZLabel. Their ratings are very close but EZLabel edges Yanet slightly in ratings (5 vs 4.9). They also differ significantly in the number of reviews, with EZLabel having considerably more than Yanet (459 vs 224). This potentially suggests a longer lifespan or greater overall adoption of EZLabel. However, both enjoy good reviews, indicating a level of user satisfaction.

Our Verdict
The choice between EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and Yanet: Returns and Exchanges depends heavily on a merchant's specific pain points. If shipping efficiency with Australia Post is the priority, and the existing returns process is manageable, EZLabel is the clear winner. Its focus on automation and simplicity for Australia Post users will save time and potentially reduce errors.
However, if managing returns and exchanges is a significant burden, causing customer frustration or internal inefficiencies, Yanet is the more appropriate solution. While it may not directly impact initial shipping efficiency, the improved customer experience and streamlined process for handling returns can contribute significantly to overall business success and repeat purchases, even without explicitly mentioning support for Australia Post.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps emphasize ease of use, but in different ways. EZLabel boasts a "two-click" label printing process, indicating extreme simplicity for shipping label creation and fulfillment. Yanet focuses on an easy-to-use portal for customers to initiate returns and exchanges, suggesting a user-friendly interface. The perception of which is 'easier' depends on the user's primary task: fulfilling orders quickly (EZLabel) or initiating a return (Yanet).
Does EZLabel support other shipping carriers besides Australia Post?
The description of EZLabel explicitly mentions Australia Post MyPost Business. There's no explicit mention of support for other carriers. Therefore, the app is assumed to prioritize Australia Post only, though it doesn't explicitly deny other carrier integrations.
Can Yanet create shipping labels for returns?
Yanet mentions return labels can be created, but doesn't specify whether this is done directly in the app or if it integrates with other services to produce them. The connection to 'all shipping carriers' suggests it can facilitate return labels, but the degree of automation is unclear.
Which app is better for improving customer satisfaction?
Yanet is designed to improve customer satisfaction directly by providing a clear and convenient return/exchange process. EZLabel indirectly improves satisfaction by ensuring faster order fulfillment. However, Yanet's impact on customer experience is likely more significant in the context of returns and exchanges.
Which app offers more customization options?
Yanet provides more explicit customization options, specifically mentioning the ability to create different return/exchange policies for different products, and the ability to edit text, banner and colors of the portal. EZLabel offers customization in packaging (custom/flat rate) and shipping preferences (signature, extra cover), which are less extensive in scope.
