Our Verdict
If your primary need is to streamline SKU creation and management, especially for a large product catalog, F: SKU Code Generator is the clear choice. Its automation and rule-based system will save you significant time and effort. However, if you're looking to deeply customize your storefront with custom data and enrich the customer experience beyond standard product information, Metafields Guru is the superior option. It's a more powerful tool for stores requiring extensive customization and data-driven design, offering robust data management features.
Ultimately, the best app depends on your specific needs. A store that needs *both* robust SKU management *and* enhanced custom data display might even consider using both apps, leveraging the strengths of each. However, a small store just getting started would likely benefit more from F: SKU Code Generator's simplicity, whereas a larger, established store focused on customer experience would likely gain more from Metafields Guru.
