F: SKU Code Generator vs SKUGenfor Shopify (2026)
F: SKU Code Generator and SKUGen are both Shopify apps designed to streamline SKU and barcode management, but they cater to slightly different merchant needs. F: SKU Code Generator focuses on ease of use and simplicity in SKU generation. It emphasizes bulk editing based on rules and automatic SKU creation upon product addition. Its positioning centers around a 'high IQ process made simpler,' suggesting a focus on beginner-friendliness. Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward and easy-to-use SKU generator, particularly those new to SKU management or with smaller catalogs, F: SKU Code Generator is the better choice. Its focus on simplicity and rule-based bulk editing makes it quick to implement. However, for businesses experiencing significant growth, requiring robust barcode generation, label printing capabilities, and duplicate SKU prevention, SKUGen is the more suitable option. While it may require a slightly steeper learning curve, its advanced features and integration with tools like Stocky provide greater scalability and control over inventory management.
