Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on expanding their reach and driving sales directly through Facebook and Instagram with a user-friendly interface, the Facebook & Instagram app is the more suitable choice, despite its lower rating. It simplifies the process of showcasing products and running basic ad campaigns. However, merchants who are serious about maximizing the performance of their Google Ads campaigns and require granular data for optimization should opt for ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM. This app provides the necessary tools for advanced tracking and data management, allowing for a more data-driven approach to advertising. While it may require more technical expertise, the potential for improved ROI justifies the investment for sophisticated marketers.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific needs and technical capabilities. A business new to online advertising might start with the Facebook & Instagram app, while a more experienced advertiser will likely benefit more from the precision and control offered by ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM. Keep in mind, though, the massive difference in reviews - this indicates a much larger user base for the Facebook & Instagram App. However, if accuracy and Google ad optimization is the key, ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM is a good choice.
