Facebook New Customer Tracking vs Zenbundle: Retail Media Appfor Shopify (2026)
Facebook New Customer Tracking and Zenbundle: Retail Media App both reside within the 'Advertising - Other' category on the Shopify App Store, but their functionalities and target audiences appear to diverge significantly. Facebook New Customer Tracking focuses on improving the Facebook Ads algorithm by sending a 'NewCustomerPurchase' event when a new customer makes a purchase. This allows merchants to optimize campaigns specifically for customer acquisition. Zenbundle: Retail Media App, on the other hand, isn't described in detail, making its specific functionality unclear, but the name suggests a broader approach to retail media management potentially encompassing multiple platforms. The key differentiator lies in their specific purpose: Facebook New Customer Tracking offers a laser-focused solution for improving new customer acquisition on Facebook, while Zenbundle’s proposition is less defined but likely involves a wider range of retail media activities. Customer perception, based on provided reviews, also differs significantly. Facebook New Customer Tracking has a low rating and few reviews, which may indicate issues with performance, support, or ease of use. Zenbundle enjoys a perfect rating with more reviews, suggesting a more positive user experience and greater merchant confidence. Ultimately, choosing between these apps requires understanding your specific advertising needs. Do you primarily focus on Facebook Ads and need refined targeting for new customers? Or do you require a broader solution for managing retail media across various platforms, even though the app description is not very clear?

Our Verdict
For merchants solely focused on optimizing Facebook Ads for new customer acquisition, Facebook New Customer Tracking might be a viable option, *if* they are comfortable with a potentially complex setup and the limited positive feedback (3/5 rating with 1 review). The server-side event tracking is beneficial. However, given the lack of clarity about Zenbundle's features and the higher rating with more reviews, it would be wise to investigate what Zenbundle actually does.
For merchants potentially requiring a more comprehensive retail media solution, or those who prioritize user-friendliness and positive customer reviews, further investigation of Zenbundle is warranted despite the app information being scant. Until more information is available on Zenbundle, it's difficult to make a strong recommendation. A merchant considering *either* app should request a demo or trial period to assess suitability.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the available data, it's difficult to definitively say which app is easier to set up. Facebook New Customer Tracking requires copying Facebook Pixel and API keys, which may be perceived as complex by some users. The lack of information about Zenbundle makes it impossible to judge its setup process, but the higher rating *might* suggest a smoother experience. More information is needed.
Which app offers better customer support?
The rating and review count suggest Zenbundle *might* offer better customer support. A higher rating with more reviews often indicates a more positive customer experience, which can include better support. However, this is speculative based on limited information.
Which app is better for small businesses?
It depends on the small business's advertising strategy. If Facebook Ads are the primary driver of new customer acquisition, Facebook New Customer Tracking *could* be beneficial despite the low rating. If the small business uses multiple retail media channels, Zenbundle *might* be a better fit, but this is purely speculative without more information about its functionality.
What are the potential drawbacks of Facebook New Customer Tracking?
The main drawbacks are the low rating and low review count, which could indicate issues with performance, reliability, or customer support. The specific targeting also means it isn't a comprehensive solution for all advertising needs.
How do I know if Zenbundle is right for my store?
Given the lack of detailed information in its description, you should contact the app developer directly to understand its features, pricing, and support options. Request a demo or trial period to see if it meets your specific retail media needs.
