FBP | Fast Bundle Product vs Hextom: Countdown Timer Barfor Shopify (2026)
FBP | Fast Bundle Product and Hextom: Countdown Timer Bar, while both falling under the Shopify categories of Promotions and Discounts, cater to vastly different needs of Shopify merchants. FBP focuses on increasing AOV (Average Order Value) by enabling merchants to create diverse bundle options like mix-and-match, BOGO deals, and product add-ons. It targets merchants seeking to strategically combine products and incentives. Hextom, conversely, leverages urgency and scarcity to boost conversion rates. It provides customizable countdown timers to create a fear-of-missing-out (FOMO) effect, encouraging immediate purchases. FBP's strength lies in its comprehensive bundle creation capabilities, from fixed bundles to customizable bundle builders and integration with POS and subscriptions. Hextom shines with its advanced targeting options (geo-location, customer segmentation, device type) and scheduling capabilities, allowing merchants to run precisely timed promotional campaigns. The choice between the two hinges on whether the merchant's primary goal is to increase the overall cart value through product combinations (FBP) or to accelerate purchasing decisions using timed promotions (Hextom).
