Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting Average Order Value (AOV) by crafting engaging product bundles and offering upsell opportunities directly within their Shopify store, FBP | Fast Bundle Product is the superior choice. Its robust features and focus on creating a customizable bundle experience provide more opportunities to increase transaction value. Conversely, if a merchant's priority is generating and distributing a large number of discount codes for marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, or affiliate partnerships, MyBulk - Bulk Discount Creator is the more suitable option. Its ability to generate up to 250,000 codes and export them to CSV makes it ideal for large-scale discount code initiatives.
Common Questions
Which app is better for creating 'Buy One Get One' (BOGO) offers?
FBP | Fast Bundle Product explicitly lists 'BOGO' as a supported bundle type, making it the better choice for creating these kinds of promotions. MyBulk focuses on code creation, not the implementation of specific offer types.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but with caution. You could use MyBulk to generate a large batch of unique codes for a promotion created using FBP. However, managing the interaction between bundled product discounts and manually generated codes can become complex.
Which app is easier to set up?
MyBulk likely has a simpler initial setup, as it focuses solely on creating discount codes. FBP, with its wider range of bundling options and customization settings, might require a steeper learning curve initially, but offers more complex promotional opportunities.
If I want to create discounts based on the quantity of a single product purchased, which app is better?
FBP is better. It provides options for quantity breaks and volume discounts. MyBulk simply creates codes, it doesn't manage the criteria or logic for discounts based on quantity purchased.
Which app has better customer reviews?
FBP | Fast Bundle Product has a higher rating (4.9/5 vs. 4.5/5) and significantly more reviews (1533 vs. 145), suggesting greater overall satisfaction among users, although more reviews do not always mean the perfect fit for a merchant.
