FBP | Fast Bundle Product vs Shopify Collabsfor Shopify (2026)
FBP | Fast Bundle Product and Shopify Collabs, while both residing in the Shopify 'Promotions' and 'Discounts' categories, cater to fundamentally different merchant needs. FBP focuses on internal revenue growth strategies by enabling merchants to create and manage product bundles, offering features like mix-and-match bundles, volume discounts, and even AI-powered 'Frequently Bought Together' suggestions. Its core aim is to increase AOV through enhanced on-site sales tactics. Shopify Collabs, on the other hand, centers on external growth by facilitating affiliate marketing programs, allowing merchants to recruit creators, offer commissions, and track affiliate sales. It's a tool for leveraging external influence and expanding reach through partnerships. The key differentiator lies in their growth strategies: FBP optimizes existing customer interactions on-site, while Shopify Collabs expands reach through off-site affiliate partnerships. FBP’s strength lies in its high rating (4.9/5 with 1533 reviews), indicating strong user satisfaction with its bundling capabilities. Shopify Collabs' lower rating (3.6/5 with 304 reviews) suggests potential usability or functionality issues, although it being a native Shopify app might offer advantages in integration and trust for some users. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether a merchant is prioritizing internal optimization of their product offerings or external expansion through affiliate marketing.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on boosting their average order value (AOV) and optimizing the on-site shopping experience through creative product combinations and bundling strategies, FBP | Fast Bundle Product is the clear choice. Its higher rating and substantial number of positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for internal revenue generation.
On the other hand, if the primary goal is to expand brand reach and sales through partnerships with external creators and affiliates, Shopify Collabs provides a built-in solution for managing affiliate programs. However, the lower rating should be considered, and merchants might want to explore other affiliate marketing apps if robust features and positive user experience are paramount. While Collabs offers the convenience of native Shopify integration, the reviews suggest that the user experience may not be as seamless as with FBP.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing AOV?
FBP | Fast Bundle Product is specifically designed to increase AOV through various bundling strategies like mix and match, volume discounts, and cross-selling. Shopify Collabs focuses on increasing overall sales volume through affiliate marketing, but doesn't directly address AOV.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the higher rating and larger number of positive reviews, FBP | Fast Bundle Product likely offers a more user-friendly experience. However, Shopify Collabs, being a native Shopify app, might have a simpler initial integration process, but the lower rating could indicate usability issues after setup.
Which app is free?
The descriptions indicate that Shopify Collabs is 'free to set up, and only pay when sales are driven'. While FBP's pricing model isn't explicitly stated here, it's unlikely to be entirely free. Look for pricing information on the Shopify App Store page.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, the apps serve distinct purposes. You can use FBP | Fast Bundle Product to optimize on-site sales and Shopify Collabs to drive traffic and sales through affiliate marketing. They address different facets of revenue generation.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
It depends on the immediate priorities. A new store focused on organic growth and on-site conversion optimization might benefit more from FBP. A store with a strong social media presence and a desire to leverage influencer marketing might find Shopify Collabs more immediately valuable. However, given Collab's lower rating, a new store might be better off finding a different affiliate marketing app with a higher rating.
