FeedbackBuddy Purchase Surveys vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
FeedbackBuddy Purchase Surveys and Zigpoll Customer Surveys both aim to help Shopify merchants understand their customers better through surveys, but they differ significantly in terms of maturity and feature sets. FeedbackBuddy focuses on post-purchase feedback with unlimited questions and responses, emphasizing data-driven decision making. Zigpoll, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive suite of survey options, including pre-purchase, NPS, on-site, email, and SMS surveys, coupled with AI analytics and integrations. Zigpoll also emphasizes ease of use with its no-code setup, multilingual support, and compatibility with Shopify's Checkout Extensions. The difference in the number of reviews between the two apps highlights a significant gap in adoption and user feedback. Zigpoll's extensive features, like abandoned checkout campaigns and customer data integration with Shopify, position it as a more robust solution for merchants seeking a holistic customer feedback platform. Conversely, FeedbackBuddy's simplicity might appeal to smaller merchants who only need basic post-purchase feedback without advanced features or integrations.

Our Verdict
Zigpoll Customer Surveys appears to be the superior choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its high rating, large number of reviews, extensive features (including AI analytics, multilingual support, and abandoned checkout recovery), and deep Shopify integration make it a powerful and versatile tool. It's suitable for merchants of all sizes who are serious about gathering comprehensive customer feedback and using it to optimize their business.
FeedbackBuddy Purchase Surveys might be a viable option for very small merchants with extremely limited budgets and a specific need for simple post-purchase feedback. However, the lack of reviews and limited feature set raise concerns about its long-term viability and ability to scale with a growing business. Given the market, Zigpoll seems the better investment.
