Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants deeply involved in dropshipping or planning to scale their brand with custom packaging and global reach, FFOrder Dropshipping is the clear choice. Its focus on building a stable and scalable supply chain is paramount. However, if a merchant's primary need is to streamline B2B wholesale pricing and customer group management with an easy-to-use interface, then Kumo ‑ B2B Wholesale Tools is the more suitable option. Consider the core business need – are you looking to optimize your product sourcing and fulfillment, or manage your B2B sales strategy?
Common Questions
Can I use both FFOrder and Kumo together?
Potentially, but it depends on your business model. If you are a dropshipper who also offers wholesale pricing, using both might be beneficial. FFOrder manages the supply chain and Kumo handles the B2B pricing. However, consider the added complexity of managing two separate apps and ensure they don't conflict with each other.
Which app is easier to set up?
Kumo is likely easier to set up initially. Its focus on pricing rules and customer groups suggests a more straightforward configuration process compared to establishing a dropshipping supply chain with FFOrder. FFOrder requires more initial investment of time and effort to get the sourcing and fulfillment aspects running.
Does FFOrder handle B2B pricing?
FFOrder does not explicitly advertise features for B2B pricing. It mainly focuses on managing the supply chain and fulfillment aspects, so you may need to use another app or develop a custom solution to manage wholesale pricing.
Does Kumo help with finding products to sell?
No, Kumo is purely for managing B2B pricing and customer groups. It does not offer any functionality related to product sourcing or finding suppliers.
Which app is better for long-term scalability?
FFOrder is designed for long-term scalability regarding fulfillment and supply chain. It supports scaling from dropshipping to branded fulfillment and provides access to direct factory access. However, if your focus is scaling the efficiency of your B2B pricing strategies, Kumo may offer value as well. Consider which aspect of your business growth is most critical.
