Our Verdict
The choice between Filey and Zoko depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the merchant is planning a store migration, needs to back up their store files, or desires an easy way to transfer media assets, Filey is the obvious choice. Its one-click export/import functionality streamlines a typically complex process.
Conversely, if a merchant is focused on improving customer communication and sales through WhatsApp, Zoko is the more relevant app. While the specifics of Zoko's features are missing, it is designed as a WhatsApp CRM, and therefore suitable for those seeking to integrate WhatsApp into their customer relationship management strategy. The slight difference in rating is unlikely to be a deciding factor; the utility of each app hinges entirely on whether the merchant prioritizes file management or customer communication.
Common Questions
Does Filey help manage customer interactions like Zoko?
No, Filey focuses on file management and transfer, not customer interaction. It's designed to export and import files from the 'Content -> Files' section of Shopify.
Can Zoko help with backing up my store's product images?
Based on the provided information, Zoko is a WhatsApp CRM and therefore it will not help with backing up product images. Filey does.
Which app is easier to use?
Filey's description emphasizes 'one-click' functionality, suggesting a simple user interface. The ease of use for Zoko would depend on the complexity of its CRM features. Without more details about Zoko's features, it's difficult to say for certain which is easier to use, but Filey's value proposition of 'one click' implies a simpler workflow.
If I'm only concerned with improving my SEO, which app is better?
Neither app directly impacts SEO. Filey helps with data migration, which *could* indirectly help with SEO if you are migrating to a better-optimized store, but it's not the primary function. Zoko impacts communication. Therefore the choice of apps is unrelated to SEO.
Is one of these apps free?
The information provided does not mention whether either app is free or paid.
