Flair Product Badges + Labels vs Social Media Live Counterfor Shopify (2026)
Flair Product Badges + Labels and Social Media Live Counter, while sharing the 'Design elements' and 'Badges and icons' categories, cater to vastly different needs. Flair Product Badges focuses on enhancing product presentation directly on the store, likely improving conversion rates through visual cues related to product attributes (e.g., 'Sale', 'New Arrival', 'Best Seller'). It has a strong established user base indicated by its perfect 5/5 rating across 227 reviews. Social Media Live Counter, on the other hand, addresses trust-building and social proof by displaying a live count of social media followers across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X & Pinterest. Social Media Live Counter aims to convert hesitant shoppers into customers by showcasing existing social media presence and linking directly to social profiles. Its key value proposition lies in its 'Live-up counter' feature, creating dynamic social proof. However, it has significantly fewer reviews (5) at a slightly lower rating (4.8/5). The app's focus is on leveraging social media to build credibility, while Flair Product Badges focuses on optimizing product visibility and appeal within the Shopify store. Customization appears to be a strength for Social Media Live Counter, offering options to adjust colors, icons, text, and layout. Ultimately, the choice depends heavily on the merchant's priorities. Merchants who have already built a substantial social media presence and want to leverage that trust to increase sales may find Social Media Live Counter beneficial. Our Verdict
For merchants with a robust social media presence already established, Social Media Live Counter offers a compelling way to leverage that social capital to build trust and increase conversions. Its live-up counter feature and direct links to social profiles can turn potential customers into loyal buyers. However, the relatively low number of reviews suggests the app is newer or less widely adopted.
In contrast, Flair Product Badges + Labels is ideal for merchants prioritizing on-site product presentation and conversion rate optimization. Its high rating and significant number of reviews indicate a well-established and reliable solution. For merchants focused on immediately boosting product visibility with attractive badges and labels, Flair Product Badges + Labels is likely the stronger choice.
