Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons vs HeyDay: Convert Exits to Salesfor Shopify (2026)
Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons and HeyDay: Convert Exits to Sales both aim to improve the user experience and drive sales, but they tackle this from fundamentally different angles. Floatify focuses on accessibility and direct communication, offering floating buttons for various channels like WhatsApp, SMS, and social media, streamlining customer contact and purchase initiation. It targets merchants looking to improve immediate engagement and conversion through readily available communication and call-to-action tools. Conversely, HeyDay takes a more passive approach, focusing on recapturing potentially lost sales by redirecting exiting visitors to a tailored page featuring missed products, primarily benefiting merchants with extensive product catalogs. Our Verdict
Floatify is the clear choice for merchants seeking immediate improvement in customer communication and accessibility. The existing reviews and high rating suggest a functional and well-received app, making it a less risky choice. Its simple setup makes it suitable for merchants of all sizes who want to quickly add contact options. HeyDay, while potentially beneficial for larger stores with high abandonment rates, lacks social proof with zero reviews. Its value proposition is also inherently more passive, relying on redirection rather than direct interaction. Therefore, merchants should consider Floatify for proactive engagement, and carefully evaluate HeyDay if their priority is to recapture exiting visitors from large product catalogs, while acknowledging the risk due to the lack of user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Floatify is advertised as being easily installed with no coding required and can be live in 1 minute. HeyDay highlights customizable design and AI search, which likely involve a more complex configuration process, thus Floatify should be faster and easier to set up.
Which app is better for a small store with limited products?
Floatify is likely better for a small store. Its focus on direct communication and call-to-action buttons can help drive sales, while HeyDay's exit-intent redirection is better suited for larger stores with extensive product catalogs where customers might miss items.
Which app is better for a store targeting international customers?
HeyDay's description mentions multilingual search support, indicating a better fit for stores targeting international customers. While Floatify doesn't explicitly exclude international audiences, the emphasis on communication channels like WhatsApp might be limited by regional preferences.
Does HeyDay integrate with WhatsApp like Floatify?
The descriptions do not indicate any WhatsApp integration for HeyDay. HeyDay focuses on exit intent redirection and internal AI-powered search.
Is either app guaranteed to increase sales?
Neither app guarantees increased sales. While both apps aim to improve the user experience and encourage conversions, the success of each app depends on various factors, including the quality of the store's products, the effectiveness of the overall marketing strategy, and the target audience.
