Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons vs Scrollio: Infinite Scrollfor Shopify (2026)
Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons and Scrollio: Infinite Scroll, while both falling under the broader 'Search and navigation' category on Shopify, address entirely different needs for online merchants. Floatify focuses on improving customer communication and streamlining the path to purchase through readily accessible, customizable floating buttons for actions like phone calls, WhatsApp chats, and social media engagement. Its strength lies in its ability to make it easy for customers to contact the store and make purchases, with the aim of boosting sales through direct interaction and simplified navigation. Scrollio, on the other hand, targets the browsing experience, specifically the collection and search pages. It seeks to enhance user engagement and reduce friction by implementing infinite scrolling or a customizable 'Load More' button, eliminating the need for pagination and keeping customers engaged with product listings for longer.

Our Verdict
The choice between Floatify and Scrollio depends entirely on the merchant's specific goals. If the priority is to facilitate instant communication and drive sales through direct customer interaction via call buttons, WhatsApp chat, and social media links, Floatify is the clear choice. Its focus on customizable, accessible buttons designed to streamline the purchase process makes it ideal for businesses that value personal interaction. However, for merchants with extensive product catalogs looking to improve the browsing experience and increase the time visitors spend on their collection pages, Scrollio offers a more relevant solution. By implementing infinite scroll or a customizable 'Load More' button, Scrollio minimizes user friction and encourages deeper product exploration.
