Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons and Search & Filter ‑ Cotinga, while both categorized under 'Search and navigation' on Shopify, serve drastically different purposes. Floatify focuses on improving customer engagement and conversions through strategically placed, customizable call-to-action buttons, social links, and live chat options. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing enhanced customer engagement through direct communication channels and prominent CTAs, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons appears to be the better choice. Its established track record, positive reviews, and focus on simplifying customer contact make it suitable for businesses looking to improve conversion rates by making it easier for customers to reach out.
However, merchants with extensive product catalogs who are struggling with product discoverability may find Search & Filter ‑ Cotinga appealing, especially if they want to provide cutting edge searching experiences like searching using image. However, the lack of reviews and rating data warrants caution. Given the information available in 2026, a thorough testing and trial period are recommended before fully committing to Search & Filter ‑ Cotinga.
