Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons vs Sellto: AI Sales Chatfor Shopify (2026)
Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons and Sellto: AI Sales Chat represent fundamentally different approaches to improving the customer experience on a Shopify store in 2026. Floatify focuses on enhancing accessibility and communication through easily customizable floating buttons. It provides various options like call buttons, WhatsApp live chat, and social media links to facilitate direct interaction and streamline common actions like adding to the cart. Sellto, on the other hand, employs AI-powered chat to proactively engage visitors with product recommendations and guide them towards a faster checkout, aiming for increased conversion rates through automated assistance. Floatify aims to provide a toolbox of easy-to-access communication options and improve the overall customer journey with convenient shortcuts. Its strength lies in its simplicity, customizability, and a wide range of options, making it accessible even to users without coding knowledge. Sellto, contrastingly, leans on AI to provide personalized support and product discovery, catering to a potentially larger audience needing purchase assistance and recommendations. However, as of the current data, Sellto lacks social proof, reflected in its zero ratings and reviews. Floatify, though simpler in its core functionality, demonstrates positive user satisfaction.

Our Verdict
Floatify is a solid choice for merchants who prioritize improving user experience through easy access to communication channels and essential store functions. It’s simple to implement and offers a tangible way to reduce friction in the customer journey. Given its positive reviews, it appears reliable and effective.
Sellto is a more ambitious solution, targeting merchants who want to actively engage visitors and increase conversions through AI-driven recommendations. However, the complete lack of reviews is a significant concern. Until Sellto gains user validation and positive feedback, it's difficult to recommend it over the established Floatify. Merchants considering Sellto should proceed with caution and carefully evaluate its performance during any free trial period.
