Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks vs Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks and Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sections are both Shopify apps aimed at increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through bundles, upsells, and cross-sells, but they approach this goal differently. Fly focuses intensely on bundling and quantity discounts as its primary function, offering a comprehensive suite of tools to create various bundle types (fixed, BOGO, frequently bought together) and tiered discounts. Its core strength lies in maximizing AOV through sophisticated bundle creation and bulk sales incentives, catering to merchants prioritizing this specific aspect of e-commerce optimization. Sternify, on the other hand, offers a broader solution focused on extending theme functionality with customizable sections. While it includes bundles and upsells, these are part of a larger toolkit designed to enhance overall store design and conversion rate optimization (CRO) through social proof, banners, and other design elements. Sternify caters to merchants looking for a more versatile app that provides design flexibility and CRO enhancements beyond just product bundling. The key difference is that Fly is a focused bundling powerhouse, while Sternify is a more general theme enhancement and CRO tool that includes bundling as a feature.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps claim ease of use, with Fly highlighting "Zero Coding" and Sternify integrating directly into the Theme Editor. Without further context, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier. User preference will depend on familiarity with theme editors versus specific bundling tools.
Which app is better for beginner Shopify merchants?
Sternify might be better for beginner merchants due to its broader focus on theme enhancement. Beginners are likely to need a wider range of adjustments to their site. Fly is more focused and requires a good understanding of bundling strategies, which might be too specialized for a complete beginner.
Which app provides better customer support?
Fly explicitly states "24/7 support", which suggests a more robust customer service offering compared to Sternify, where support details are not mentioned. Therefore, Fly appears to offer better customer support.
Which app is more likely to impact store loading speed?
Fly emphasizes "zero impact on store speed" for its native widgets, suggesting this has been optimized. Sternify doesn't explicitly mention speed optimization. Thus, based on provided information, Fly appears to be more conscious of, or better optimized for, store loading speed.
How do the inventory management features compare?
Fly mentions a "Breakdown of bundles for ... inventory sync & fulfilment," implying it has specific features to handle inventory management related to bundles. Sternify doesn't explicitly mention inventory management; thus, Fly likely provides more sophisticated inventory control in the context of bundling.
