Formigo Custom Form Builder vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, the choice between Formigo Custom Form Builder and Zigpoll Customer Surveys for Shopify merchants is stark. Formigo, with no ratings or reviews, represents an unknown quantity, likely a very new app or one with significant issues preventing adoption. Zigpoll, on the other hand, is a well-established player with a perfect 5/5 rating from a substantial 417 reviews. Zigpoll positions itself as a comprehensive survey solution, covering post-purchase, pre-purchase, NPS, on-site, and email/SMS channels, leveraging AI analytics to extract actionable insights. It focuses on ease of use, seamless integration, and the ability to optimize business outcomes based on zero-party data. The clear differentiator lies in established reputation and feature set. Zigpoll offers advanced features such as abandoned checkout campaigns, multilingual support, and integrations with Shopify customer and order dashboards, allowing merchants to connect survey responses directly to customer profiles. These capabilities are all absent from the information provided about Formigo. Zigpoll also highlights its compatibility with Shopify's Order Status and Thank You Page Checkout Extensions, indicating a focus on modern Shopify development practices. Formigo's lack of information suggests it might be a basic form builder that doesn't focus specifically on surveys or complex integration.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its strong reputation, comprehensive feature set, and AI-powered analytics provide significant value for businesses looking to understand their customers and improve their operations. It particularly suits merchants looking to deeply integrate surveys across various customer touchpoints, including post-purchase experiences, abandoned checkout recovery, and email/SMS marketing.
Formigo Custom Form Builder might be suitable for merchants who require very basic form creation and are willing to take a risk on an unproven app. However, without any evidence of positive feedback or unique features, it's difficult to recommend Formigo over Zigpoll. Unless Formigo offers a compelling price point or a very specific form-building capability missing from Zigpoll, Zigpoll presents a far safer and more effective option.
