FraudLabs Pro Fraud Prevention vs Ongoing Disable Right Clickfor Shopify (2026)
FraudLabs Pro Fraud Prevention and Ongoing Disable Right Click both address 'Fraud' related concerns within a Shopify store, but their approaches and target users are vastly different. FraudLabs Pro focuses on preventing payment fraud through order analysis and risk assessment, catering to merchants concerned about chargebacks and fraudulent transactions. It leverages real-time analysis, AI, customizable rules, and blocking capabilities to mitigate financial losses. In contrast, Ongoing Disable Right Click aims to protect content by preventing users from easily copying images and text, focusing on intellectual property protection. Its target audience is likely merchants who create original content and want to discourage unauthorized duplication. The primary distinction lies in their core functionality: FraudLabs Pro is a sophisticated fraud detection and prevention tool utilizing data analysis and automated decision-making, while Ongoing Disable Right Click is a basic tool to prevent right-clicking. The reviews reflect these differences: FraudLabs Pro has a larger user base and more reviews, suggesting a wider need for payment fraud protection. Although the rating is lower (2.8/5), it indicates possible complexity in configuration or user experience. Ongoing Disable Right Click, with a perfect 5/5 rating, suggests simple functionality that delivers as expected, although the low review count (4) means this conclusion should be viewed with caution. Given the vastly different features and focus, it's unlikely there will be many users who would consider using both apps. FraudLabs Pro targets merchants with concerns related to chargebacks and payment fraud, while Ongoing Disable Right Click targets businesses looking to protect their website content.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned about payment fraud and chargebacks, FraudLabs Pro Fraud Prevention is the more relevant choice, despite its lower rating. The app offers a comprehensive suite of tools for analyzing orders and identifying potential risks. However, merchants should be prepared to invest time in configuring the rules to suit their specific business needs. The lower rating suggests that setup can be complex or not fully effective without customization.
Ongoing Disable Right Click is suitable for merchants who prioritize protecting their website content, such as images and text, from unauthorized copying. It's a simpler solution with a specific purpose. However, it will not prevent sophisticated methods of content theft, such as using browser extensions or screenshots. Therefore, it's a value proposition more for deterring casual copying.
