Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily dealing with LTL and freight shipping of large or bulky items, FreightClub is the clear winner. Its access to discounted rates and automated claims processing directly addresses the pain points associated with this type of shipping. The higher number of carrier integrations also offer more flexibility. However, if your business model requires highly customized shipping rules based on factors like product attributes, delivery date, or location, ShipZip is the more appropriate choice. Its granular control over shipping rate calculations allows for tailored solutions to specific shipping challenges. The significantly higher number of reviews on ShipZip suggests a larger user base and potentially more community support, although the perfect rating should be examined for authenticity.
