Gift Cards by WeGifts vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)
Gift Cards by WeGifts and Selling Point both offer 5-star ratings on the Shopify app store as of 2026, but they cater to distinct needs. WeGifts focuses on simplifying gift card management within Shopify, offering features like SMS/email delivery, bulk generation with client grouping for B2B sales, usage tracking, and sales statistics. It's designed to streamline the process of selling and managing gift cards natively within Shopify. Our Verdict
The ideal choice depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is starting or has a well-established Shopify store and wants to optimize their native gift card program, including B2B sales with customized options, Gift Cards by WeGifts is the better option. Its focus on sales, usage tracking, and detailed statistics makes it a robust tool for managing internal gift card operations. It is best for merchants who need to improve their native Shopify gift card sales.
However, if a merchant is migrating to Shopify from another platform (like a different e-commerce system or a POS system) and needs to transfer existing gift card balances, Selling Point is the clear winner. It streamlines the migration process, allowing merchants to quickly and easily import their gift card data into Shopify, minimizing disruption and ensuring customers can still redeem their existing balances. It is a powerful tool for a one-time data transfer to Shopify Gift Cards.
