Gifted: Gift Messages vs Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PROfor Shopify (2026)
Gifted: Gift Messages and Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO, while both listed under 'Gifts' within the Shopify app store, address fundamentally different aspects of e-commerce. Gifted focuses on enabling personalized gifting experiences by allowing customers to send digital gift messages, track gift sales, and upsell through options like gift wrapping. It aims to tap into the gift-giving market, acquiring new customers through gift recipients. Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO (while limited information is provided) clearly positions itself around optimizing shipping incentives, which can greatly influence consumer behavior. The primary difference lies in their core functionality: Gifted enhances the gifting experience itself, while Goalify focuses on shipping cost optimization and promotional messaging. Gifted provides features like a customizable gifting widget, timed email delivery, and gift sales analytics, catering to merchants looking to expand their reach through gift purchases and provide a premium gifting experience. Given limited information on Goalify, it will depend on the other features that Goalify provides to see if it is a competitive solution to offer free shipping to customers. The target audience for Gifted is merchants who sell products frequently gifted (e.g., jewelry, personalized items) and want to increase gift sales. Considering the limited information, Goalify might suit merchants seeking to improve their shipping incentives to customers. Gifted stands out clearly if the goal is to cater to the gift-giving market.

Our Verdict
The choice between Gifted and Goalify hinges entirely on the merchant's objective. If the goal is to tap into the gifting market, provide personalized gifting options, and acquire new customers through gift recipients, Gifted is the clear choice. Its features cater specifically to that purpose.
If the primary objective is optimizing shipping incentives to increase average order value and conversion rates, Goalify is the more appropriate app, assuming it provides robust features around shipping bar customization and performance tracking. Without further details on Goalify, however, making a definitive recommendation is difficult. Gifted offers a clear and demonstrable value proposition for merchants looking to expand their business through gifting.
