GiftForm is specifically designed for streamlining influencer gifting programs and internal gifting campaigns, automating the process of collecting addresses, product preferences (like sizes), and consent for UGC usage. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking to streamline their influencer gifting and internal employee programs, and efficiently collect addresses and UGC consent, GiftForm ‑ Influencer Gifting presents a focused solution. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and actual ease of use. Merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app before committing to it.
On the other hand, Toki Loyalty Program & Rewards is a more established and comprehensive solution for merchants seeking a robust loyalty program to incentivize repeat purchases, referrals, and social engagement. With a high rating and numerous reviews, it appears to be a reliable choice for businesses wanting to build deeper customer relationships and increase customer lifetime value. If the merchant desires a fully-featured loyalty program with diverse rewards and detailed analytics, Toki is the stronger recommendation.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
GiftForm claims to be the simplest way for product seeding and gifting, suggesting potentially easier setup for basic gifting campaigns. However, without reviews, it's hard to confirm. Toki, with its comprehensive feature set, might have a steeper learning curve but includes free live support and onboarding which would offset this.
Does GiftForm offer support for POS systems?
The description for GiftForm does not mention POS integration. Toki, conversely, mentions POS integration as part of its all-in-one loyalty platform. If POS integration is crucial, Toki is the better option.
Can both apps integrate with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms?
Neither description explicitly states integration with specific email marketing platforms. However, given their functionalities (gifting and loyalty), both apps likely offer some form of integration or export capabilities to leverage customer data for email marketing. Further research and direct inquiry would be needed to confirm which integrations are supported.
How do the apps handle fraud prevention?
GiftForm doesn't mention fraud prevention. Toki explicitly mentions fraud protection in the context of referrals. If fraud is a major concern, Toki's referral fraud protection would be a significant advantage.
Which app is better for building long-term brand loyalty?
Toki Loyalty Program & Rewards is explicitly designed to build long-term brand loyalty through its various features like VIP tiers, rewards programs, and memberships. GiftForm, while helpful for generating initial awareness through gifting, doesn't inherently build long-term loyalty in the same way.
