Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)
Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator and Selling Point are both Shopify apps in the Gifts and Gift Cards category, but they address very different needs. Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator positions itself as an all-in-one solution for creating and managing digital gift cards directly within Shopify. Its focus is on ease of use and flexibility for merchants wanting to generate new gift cards. In contrast, Selling Point is primarily focused on migrating existing gift card and store credit data from other platforms into Shopify. Its strength lies in its ability to import large volumes of gift card data from various sources, including POS systems and other websites. The apps target distinct merchant segments. Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator is suitable for merchants who are starting a new gift card program or who are looking for a straightforward way to create and manage gift cards within Shopify. Selling Point, on the other hand, caters to merchants who are migrating to Shopify from another platform or who have a significant existing gift card balance on another system that needs to be transferred. The significant difference in user reviews and ratings suggests a much stronger established user base and satisfaction with Selling Point.

Our Verdict
For merchants launching a new gift card program within Shopify and needing a simple tool for creation and management, Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator *could* be an option. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise serious concerns about its functionality and reliability. Selling Point is definitively the better choice for merchants transitioning to Shopify from another platform who need to migrate existing gift card balances or store credit. Its high rating and established user base indicate a reliable and well-regarded solution for data migration.
Considering the data available, recommending Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator is difficult without any positive user feedback. Selling Point is the safer and more logical choice for its target audience. Merchants starting from scratch should explore well-reviewed alternatives to Giftly Easy Gift Cards Creator.
