Giftman ‑ Gift Wrap & Message vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)

Our Verdict
For merchants focused on improving the customer experience through enhanced gifting options like wrapping and personalized messages, Giftman ‑ Gift Wrap & Message *might* be a suitable choice. However, its extremely limited review count makes it difficult to recommend with confidence in 2026. Proceed with extreme caution and consider thorough testing.
Selling Point is the clear choice for merchants transitioning to Shopify who need to migrate existing gift card and store credit balances. Its features directly address this pain point, and its positive review count suggests it's a reliable and effective solution for bulk migrations and ongoing gift card management and marketing.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Selling Point is designed for self-service migration, suggesting a straightforward setup process. Giftman's ease of setup is unknown due to the lack of reviews, but likely simpler in initial setup due to fewer overall functions.
Which app is more suitable for a small business?
If the small business needs to migrate gift cards, Selling Point is the better option. If the small business only wants to enhance the gifting process with wrapping and messages, Giftman *might* suffice if you can thoroughly test and validate it.
Which app has better long-term support?
It's impossible to determine with certainty. However, the higher review count of Selling Point suggests a more established user base, which *could* indicate better long-term support.
Can Selling Point be used for anything besides initial migration?
Yes. Selling Point offers the ability to bulk generate and send out gift cards for marketing promotions.
Is it possible that Giftman is new and that's why it doesn't have a lot of reviews?
Yes, it is entirely possible. However, a lack of reviews represents a higher risk because it makes it more difficult to assess the app's reliability and effectiveness.
