Gleantap: All‑in‑one Messaging vs Yozo AI: Email, SMS & WA Agentfor Shopify (2026)
Gleantap: All-in-one Messaging and Yozo AI: Email, SMS & WA Agent are both Shopify apps in the SMS marketing category, aiming to boost revenue through automated customer engagement. Gleantap positions itself as a comprehensive platform combining omnichannel messaging, marketing automation, a sales CRM, and reputation management, emphasizing AI-driven two-way conversations and multi-touch journeys. It appears targeted towards merchants seeking a full-fledged customer engagement hub with potentially more manual oversight and customization. Yozo AI, on the other hand, markets itself as a fully autonomous conversational AI agent handling end-to-end marketing across email, WhatsApp, and SMS. The primary distinction lies in the level of automation and control. Gleantap offers more control with its diverse feature set and human agent option while also requiring potentially more hands-on management. Yozo AI prioritizes effortless automation, claiming to handle campaign creation and content generation with minimal merchant intervention, making it potentially appealing to merchants prioritizing a 'hands-off' approach. Yozo AI's current positive user reviews offer some social proof which Gleantap currently lacks.

Our Verdict
Yozo AI seems better suited for merchants who want a highly automated solution with minimal ongoing management. Its focus on simplified setup and autonomous campaign generation makes it ideal for those who prioritize ease of use and rapid deployment, especially for abandoned cart recovery and first-time customer activation.
Gleantap, on the other hand, appears to be a better fit for merchants needing a more comprehensive solution with CRM capabilities, a broader range of channel support, and a preference for greater control over customer interactions, including the option for human agent involvement. However, the lack of initial user reviews and the implied complexity of the system might present a higher barrier to entry.
