Our Verdict
Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO is ideal for merchants seeking a straightforward solution to encourage larger order sizes and potentially increase conversion rates by offering free shipping incentives. The high rating suggests it effectively delivers on this promise. Govalo | Gift Card Suite, despite its lower rating, caters to merchants prioritizing customer acquisition and retention through versatile gift card and gifting options, particularly those already utilizing subscription apps and email marketing platforms.
For merchants focused on rapid AOV improvement with a simple solution, Goalify is likely the better choice. For merchants needing a robust gifting system integrated with subscriptions and email marketing to nurture customer relationships, Govalo, despite its lower ratings, may still offer the needed features. However, the lower rating warrants careful consideration of user reviews before committing to Govalo.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO is likely easier to set up and use due to its singular focus on free shipping optimization, while Govalo | Gift Card Suite, with its broader feature set and integrations, may require more configuration.
Which app is better for increasing customer loyalty?
Govalo | Gift Card Suite is better suited for increasing customer loyalty through its gift card and gifting options, enabling customers to easily share the store with others and providing rewards for repeat purchases. Goalify's free shipping bar has less direct impact on loyalty.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
Goalify might be better for a new Shopify store as it addresses a fundamental need (increasing AOV) with a straightforward solution. Govalo's more advanced features might be better suited once the store has established a customer base and has subscription and email marketing systems in place.
How do the integrations with other apps compare?
Goalify's description does not explicitly mention integrations. Govalo integrates with Bold & Recharge (subscriptions) and Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Drip (email marketing), making it more suitable for merchants using those platforms.
Does the low rating of Govalo mean it's a bad app?
Not necessarily. A lower rating could indicate issues with specific features, customer support, or bugs that may or may not affect all users. It's crucial to read recent reviews and understand the specific reasons behind the lower rating to determine if those issues are relevant to your business needs.
