Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, Scarcity++ Low Stock Counter is the clearly preferable choice. Its proven track record, indicated by a perfect rating and significant number of reviews, alongside its well-defined feature set centered around creating urgency and scarcity, make it a reliable option for boosting sales. Merchants targeting impulse buyers or those running time-sensitive promotions will find its countdown and customization options particularly valuable.
GoneSoon: Low Stock Alerts, with its lack of reviews and unknown functionality, presents a significantly higher risk. While it may offer similar features, the absence of any user feedback makes it difficult to assess its effectiveness or reliability. Unless a merchant is particularly adventurous and willing to take a chance on a potentially untested app, Scarcity++ offers a much more secure and potentially rewarding solution.
