Google Shopping Price Optimize vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Google Shopping Price Optimize and Zigpoll Customer Surveys, while both categorized under 'Analytics' on the Shopify app store, serve fundamentally different purposes. Google Shopping Price Optimize aims to enhance Google Shopping performance by automatically adjusting product prices. Given the app's name, its focus is squarely on optimizing Google Shopping campaigns. Zigpoll Customer Surveys, on the other hand, is a comprehensive customer feedback platform, offering tools for creating and deploying various types of surveys (post-purchase, pre-purchase, NPS, etc.) across different channels (on-site, email, SMS). It emphasizes gathering zero-party data and leveraging AI analytics to improve marketing, conversion rates, and overall business strategy. The key difference lies in their application. Google Shopping Price Optimize is tailored for merchants actively using Google Shopping and seeking to automate price adjustments for optimal campaign performance. Zigpoll targets merchants interested in gathering in-depth customer insights to improve their products, marketing, and overall customer experience. While both contribute to improving business performance, they do so through entirely different mechanisms: algorithmic price adjustment versus direct customer feedback. The very different review counts—5 versus 417—suggests Zigpoll has a wider appeal and a more established user base.
