Helpify24 vs Instadesk‑Live Chat&AI Chatbotfor Shopify (2026)
Helpify24 and Instadesk‑Live Chat&AI Chatbot offer drastically different approaches to helpdesk solutions for Shopify merchants in 2026. Helpify24 positions itself as a more hands-on, human-powered support service, promising concrete assistance from online operators to solve daily e-commerce problems. Their focus is on providing personalized help with tasks like app installation, visual content creation, and social media management. In contrast, Instadesk aims to provide a fully automated, AI-driven customer service solution using LLM chatbots. It highlights its omni-channel capabilities and multilingual support, catering to global e-commerce businesses seeking 24/7 customer service. Helpify24's strength lies in its personal touch and direct human assistance, making it suitable for merchants who value personalized support and guidance. However, its operational hours and scalability might be limited by the availability of human agents. Instadesk's key advantage is its scalability and continuous availability through AI, making it ideal for businesses that need to handle a large volume of customer inquiries across multiple channels and languages. The lack of reviews is a concern, while Helpify24, despite limited reviews, has a perfect rating. The choice hinges on whether a merchant prioritizes human expertise or AI-powered scalability.

Our Verdict
For smaller Shopify businesses, particularly those less comfortable with technology or those seeking a more personal touch, Helpify24 could be a good starting point, as long as response times are satisfactory. The high rating, despite the low review count, is encouraging. However, the description being in Italian might be a barrier for non-Italian speakers.
For larger, global Shopify stores needing 24/7 customer service across multiple channels and languages, Instadesk seems to be the better choice. Its AI-driven automation and omni-channel support offer greater scalability and efficiency. However, the lack of reviews and initial setup required for AI customization are potential drawbacks. Therefore, a cautious approach with a trial period is advised before fully committing to Instadesk.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Helpify24 likely offers a simpler initial setup due to its reliance on human operators. Instadesk, with its AI chatbot and omni-channel integrations, might require more initial configuration and training to customize the AI to specific business needs.
Which app is more cost-effective for a small business?
Without pricing information, it's difficult to say definitively. However, Helpify24's human-powered support may be more expensive in the long run as the business grows. Instadesk's AI automation could potentially be more cost-effective over time if it reduces the need for human customer service agents.
Which app offers better support for non-English speaking customers?
Instadesk clearly states that it provides multilingual support. While Helpify24 may offer support in multiple languages, this is not explicitly mentioned, and the app's description is in Italian, suggesting a primary focus on the Italian market.
Which app is better for handling complex customer inquiries?
Instadesk is better positioned to handle a high volume of inquiries due to its AI capabilities. However, the quality of the AI's responses and its ability to resolve complex issues effectively would depend on its training and customization. Helpify24 may be better suited for handling uniquely complex issues that require nuanced human understanding.
Which app has a better track record based on reviews?
Helpify24 has a perfect 5/5 rating, though based on only 4 reviews. Instadesk has no reviews, making it difficult to assess its reliability and performance.
