Helpify24 vs ResponseCXfor Shopify (2026)
Helpify24 and ResponseCX represent fundamentally different approaches to helpdesk solutions for Shopify merchants in 2026. Helpify24, despite its limited user base, offers human-powered support, promising assistance with various Shopify tasks, including app installations, visual content creation, and social media guidance. Its value proposition revolves around personalized assistance and acting as a cloud-based agency for merchants. The description and features are in Italian, suggesting a focus on the Italian-speaking market. ResponseCX, conversely, leverages AI to autonomously resolve tickets, automate customer service operations, and handle tasks such as order modifications and subscription changes. It targets merchants seeking to optimize customer service efficiency and reduce manual workload through AI-driven solutions. The core difference lies in the operational model. Helpify24 provides human agents accessible via live chat or ticket system, while ResponseCX offers autonomous AI agents. Helpify24's strength lies in providing customized, hands-on assistance and personalized advice. ResponseCX's strength is in automating repetitive tasks and providing rapid, consistent responses, potentially reducing response times and operational costs. Helpify24 appears suited for merchants needing broader, more personalized support and those who prefer interacting with human agents. ResponseCX is geared towards larger merchants or those experiencing high ticket volumes, seeking scalable and automated customer service solutions, and willing to invest in AI-driven automation.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking human touch, personalized guidance across a range of ecommerce tasks (like app installation and content creation) with native Italian language support, Helpify24 is the preferred choice, despite the limited review data. Its human-powered assistance can be particularly valuable for smaller businesses or those lacking in-house expertise. However, the limited reviews suggest caution and further investigation is recommended before committing.
ResponseCX is more suitable for merchants prioritizing efficiency and scalability in their customer service operations. If a merchant handles a large volume of routine tickets (e.g., order cancellations, modifications) and uses Gorgias, ResponseCX offers the potential to automate resolution, reduce response times, and free up human agents for more complex issues. However, the lack of reviews is a significant risk. Merchants should prioritize a trial or pilot program to assess the AI's accuracy and effectiveness before widespread adoption.
Common Questions
Which app offers more personalized support?
Helpify24 offers more personalized support as it utilizes human agents who can provide tailored assistance and advice based on the specific needs of the merchant. ResponseCX provides personalized ticket responses using AI, however is limited by pre-programmed functionality.
Which app is better for automating customer service?
ResponseCX is specifically designed for automating customer service through AI. It can automatically resolve tickets, process order modifications, and handle subscription changes without human intervention.
How do the response times differ between the two apps?
Helpify24 guarantees a response within 24 hours via ticket, with the possibility of immediate assistance via live chat if agents are available. ResponseCX aims for instantaneous responses through its AI agents.
What type of merchant benefits most from Helpify24?
Smaller Shopify businesses or businesses that need broad, personalized support from human agents. Businesses requiring assistance with tasks such as installing new apps, creating visual content, or managing social media accounts would benefit.
What are the key risks of choosing ResponseCX given the data?
The primary risk with ResponseCX is the lack of reviews. Without user feedback, it's difficult to assess the AI's accuracy, effectiveness, and potential limitations. It's essential to thoroughly test the app's capabilities before relying on it for critical customer service functions. The lack of reviews makes it a much riskier pick.
