Herodesk vs Tipi Helpfor Shopify (2026)
Herodesk and Tipi Help are both Shopify apps targeting merchants seeking improved customer support through a helpdesk system. Herodesk positions itself as a simple and affordable solution specifically for small and mid-sized e-commerce businesses, emphasizing control over customer support and preventing missed inquiries. It highlights the integration with Shopify for easy access to order information and offers live-chat integration with popular platforms like Facebook Messenger and Instagram. Tipi Help, on the other hand, focuses on ease of use and quick implementation, promising a strong feature set for efficient customer inquiry handling and an intuitive interface integrated into the store's admin. The primary difference lies in their maturity and focus. Herodesk has an established presence with a perfect rating, albeit based on a small number of reviews, suggesting early adopter satisfaction. It also highlights specific integrations which can be valuable to some customers. Tipi Help, being new with no reviews, is an unproven solution. While it promises ease of use and a streamlined workflow, its real-world performance remains untested. Their key feature differentiators include Herodesk’s strong emphasis on Shopify integration specifically highlighting visibility into order information, while Tipi Help emphasizes internal team collaboration through conversation assignment within the Shopify admin.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing proven reliability and tight integration with Shopify order data, especially those already using Facebook Messenger and Instagram for customer communication, Herodesk is the safer choice. While the limited number of reviews should be considered, the perfect rating suggests a positive initial experience.
Tipi Help, on the other hand, might be a better fit for stores looking for a deeply integrated admin panel experience and focusing on internal team collaboration through conversation assignments. However, given the lack of reviews, it's a higher-risk option. Merchants willing to take a chance on a new app and potentially shape its development through early feedback could consider Tipi Help. Ultimately, the lack of user feedback on Tipi Help makes Herodesk a more prudent choice for most merchants in 2026.
